Light and Stone

Gothic glass and Haussmann stone, and the people who pass through both. The chapel and the opera house are built to make you look up; the Porte Saint-Martin and the Louvre courtyard put someone in the frame to give the stone its scale. It ends underground, where the city keeps its dead.
